Shuichi Kobayashi MD

In 1986, graduated top of the class from Hokkaido University School of Medicine. Joined the university's First Department of Internal Medicine, spending approximately 10 years engaged in internal medicine clinical practice, primarily at the university hospital. Authored numerous papers on internal medicine disorders, respiratory diseases, and respiratory physiology. Moved to the United States in 1995. After conducting basic research in the field of molecular and cellular physiology in Ohio for several years, returned to clinical medicine. Completed an American internal medicine residency in Ohio.

In 2006, opened a clinic in the new outpatient building of El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, the heart of Silicon Valley. Offers general internal medicine, comprehensive medical examinations (ningen dock), and anti-aging care. In 2009, opened a branch clinic near Union Square in downtown San Francisco. Has been dedicated to providing healthcare for Japanese expatriates and residents in the Bay Area ever since. Currently holds medical licenses in six U.S. states—California, New York, Hawaii, Texas, Ohio, and Kentucky—and actively provides online telemedicine for patients in each of these states, alongside in-person consultations at the San Francisco and Silicon Valley clinics.

Credentials: Japanese Medical License / U.S. Medical License. Member of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, Certified Internal Medicine Specialist by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, Certified Specialist by the Japanese Respiratory Society, Fellow/Member of the American College of Physicians (ACP), and Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
