Features of our health checkups
-
The physician in charge of comprehensive medical check-ups (ningen dock) holds medical licenses in both Japan and the United States. Examinations and tests are conducted with a thorough understanding of disease susceptibilities specific to Japanese people—which can often be difficult for American physicians to fully grasp.
-
The physician places a strong emphasis on the early discovery of gastrointestinal diseases, personally performing procedures such as upper endoscopies (stomach cameras) and abdominal ultrasound examinations.
-
X-ray-related examinations are first interpreted by board-certified radiologists with official U.S. credentials who create formal reports, which are then re-checked at our clinic.
-
Test results are comprehensively evaluated based on extensive clinical experience as a board-certified internal medicine physician in both Japan and the U.S. The attending physician has spent many years in Japan evaluating ningen dockresults and explaining health check-up findings, and provides detailed reports written in Japanese.
-
If any abnormalities are found during the check-up, we follow up them by subsequent specialized testing, follow-up observations, and treatment.
