Extensive MRI scan

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a medical examination that uses strong magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves to create precise images of the body.

It can evaluate morphological abnormalities throughout almost the entire body and detect minute lesions in various organs with excellent resolution. It excels not only in evaluating organs such as the brain, neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis, but also in soft tissues such as the spinal cord, intervertebral discs, and joint ligaments, proving highly effective in the early detection of cancer. Furthermore, because it can freely capture cross-sections from any direction, it is possible to accurately understand the three-dimensional position of lesions and their relationship to the surrounding tissue. In addition, with a special protocol, it is possible to visualize blood vessels and blood flow without using contrast agents.

A major advantage of MRI scans is that they do not use radiation. Therefore, there is no risk of radiation exposure like with X-ray examinations or CT scans.

MRI examinations are performed at specialized radiology facilities affiliated with our center. Three different options are available depending on the area you wish to image. Our center will assist you with making your reservation.

1) Core body

2) Trunk + head and neck (brain, neck)

3) Trunk + head and neck + head and neck angiogram (MRA) + spinal cord (Supine)

Please note that individuals with implanted electronic devices such as cardiac pacemakers or cochlear implants, or those with metals that react to magnetism remaining in their bodies, cannot undergo MRI scans. If you have any questions regarding eligibility for the examination, please contact our center.
